A couple weeks ago, it was brought to my attention that visitors to a Denver-based internet message board have been crediting me with anonymous, hateful messages posted to the board.   I HAVE NEVER POSTED AN ANONYMOUS CRITICAL MESSAGE TO THE  MESSAGE BOARD IN QUESTION (or to any other message board).  The message board is visited mostly by Denver musicians and music fans, and because I make a portion of my income recording Denver acts, I consider this a serious matter.  The tone of many the message board's posts and the approach of its adminstrators (logging in isn't required and the board is unmoderated except for selective deletion) are extremely unprofessional.  In my opinion, the adminstrators' approach encourages gossip and hateful, anonymous posting more than constructive discourse.   Ugly as that is, it's still fine and good until mean-spirited untruths (aka libel) are intentionally propagated.

I know the source of most of the messages accusing me of posting hateful comments, and I've asked directly that they be stopped.  If they continue, I will do everything possible to have them removed and traced.

Thank you for your time and understanding.
